COUNTDOWN TO HALLOWEEN Granted, this book may be a little young for me, but who doesn't love a good Halloween book with delicious illustrations? This book has it all...ghosts, pumpkins, spiders, a witch and of course a kitty! All children (and kitties) love a fun Halloween countdown book!

MIA AND THE GIRL WITH A TWIRL My sister is taking dance class again, so I thought I would take the opportunity to learn about dance. In this book, Mia learns about how we all have our own style. She learns that it is fun to be unique and stand out. Mia learns that being yourself is more fun that following what others do. Soon, all the girls in class are catching on and having a twirling good time!

CLEO AND CASPER This is one of my human's favorite book. It is about a cat that learns to accept a new puppy into her home. At first she doesn't like him, he is quite different after all! Soon though, she learns that they have some things in common, like playing. This story is so simple, but powerful in showing us we all have some things in common with others, no matter how different we may appear on the outside.

SPLAT THE CAT AND THE QUICK CHICKS This fast moving story follows Splat proudly caring for his class pets in his home. In no time at all, things get a little hairy and out of hand! I'm learning a lot about words with the "ick" sound, like, quick chicks!

THE ANIMAL'S SANTA There are no cats in this festive book, but it is certainly worth a read. Jan Brett is one of my favorite authors; her stories and illustrations are fantastic! You will find lots of furry friends and a heart warming story about giving to others!

PETE THE CAT Is there anything better than a Pete The Cat book? No! "Pete The Cat, 12 Groovy Days of Christmas" is fun to read if you haven't read any of the Pete books. With the holidays and Christmas around the corner, this book is a treat to read. Pete is pretty groovy and always having fun!
